Klipspringer is a privacy-first event ticketing system built for organizers who value simplicity and trust. It handles everything from ticket issuance to check-in with GDPR-compliant care, ID verification, and seamless wallet integration.

Single-tenant ticketing for one event.

Klipspringer is designed to handle the logistics of one event per instance. It's not a platform, it's a toolkit, you deploy it once per event, and that's it. This keeps data scoped, responsibilities clear, and complexity low.

ID verification without data storage.

Attendees can verify their age or identity using a third-party system (Didit) before arriving. No ID photos or documents are stored, they're checked once and discarded. This is useful for age-gated events or faster check-in.

Wallet support.

Attendees can add their ticket directly to Google Wallet. Apple Wallet support is on the way. This makes it easy for them to check in without digging through emails or PDFs.

On-site check-in and scanning.

You can scan tickets using your phone’s camera or a USB scanner. Attendees are marked as checked in. It works offline too, as long as the device has the data loaded ahead of time.

Optional payments via Stripe or PayPal.

You can charge for tickets using your own Stripe or PayPal account. No money touches Klipspringer. Taxes, discount codes, and add-ons are also supported.

Ask questions up front.

Collect information during signup, like dietary restrictions or pronouns. This helps organizers plan better without follow-up emails.

Let people find roommates.

Attendees who want to share lodging can match via a short code system. Both people must confirm before being paired. This is especially helpful for retreats or hackathons.

Calendar and scheduling.

You can publish a schedule and let attendees RSVP to individual items. The entire calendar can be downloaded as an ICS file and imported into personal calendars.

Notifications.

Send announcements to specific groups, like people with a certain ticket type, RSVP status, or add-on. No need to email everyone when only a few need the update.

Read-only finance view.

Link a financial account in read-only mode to view the event's balance and transaction history. No credentials are stored, Klipspringer only reads the numbers.

GDPR-compliance.

Klipspringer was built to meet GDPR standards by default. It collects only the data you ask for, avoids unnecessary tracking, and minimizes storage wherever possible.
